Personalized Ceremonies
Every ceremony is different, created and delivered based solely on your desires and needs. Some couples want a very simple and informal ceremony with only a few people in attendance, while others envision a large, formal affair with many attendants and elements in their ceremony. Whether your ceremony will be large or small, formal or informal, I invest time in writing and crafting a personalized ceremony that reflects who you are.  For personalized ceremonies, my fees range accordingly from $650 to $1050 and are determined by many factors, including: the distance and time of travel, time devoted to designing and writing the ceremony, research of rituals and readings, the day and time of your wedding, and officiating on your wedding day.

 

For all couples desiring a personalized ceremony, I will provide:

  • A custom-written ceremony that must meet with your happy approval.
  • Timely submission of all drafts, revised drafts and final ceremony.

  •  Friendly and professional support via email and phone at any time during the entire process.
  • Research for rituals and special readings based on your cultural traditions and preferences.
  • An organized rehearsal when needed. This includes organizing the processional/recessional.
  • Coordinate with vendors and provide cue sheets where appropriate.
  • A beautiful keepsake copy of your ceremony.
  • Professional and gracious delivery of your ceremony.
  • Proper submission of marriage license to your city/town official within the prescribed time.
  • Follow-up after the ceremony.

 

Elopement Ceremonies

While the vast majority of couples want a personalized ceremony, written exclusively for them, others (particularly if they are eloping) would prefer a simpler option.  For elopement ceremonies that will take place Monday through Thursday and are in my immediate area near Hartford, Connecticut, I can offer you a greatly reduced fee.  Contact me and we’ll discuss the details.
